Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1883. Hardcover. Very Good. Riverside edition. A twelve volume set lacking Volume IV *A Wonder-Book*, but including Volume XIII *Dr. Grimshawe's Secret*. Illustrated with etchings by Blum, Church, Dielman, Gifford, Shirlaw, and Turner. Uniform brown pebble cloth with red leather spine labels printed in gilt, top edges gilt. Some hinges and gutters cracked, faint dampstain on all cloth boards, light dampstain in gutter or on page edges of volumes one, two, five, seven, and twelve, lacking the half-title and title pages with gutter cracked in volume three (Seven Gables), volume five with boards soiled and most of (truncated) spine label chipped and unreadable, spine lables rubbed with minor chips, about very good set without dustwrappers as issued.
