Barbra Streisand. Always a trend and fashion setter -- with her own unique style during each period, Barbra Streisand attends an event in 1970 wearing a white wool gown and coat trimmed in white mink with matching fur hat and muff. This was right at the time she had just won an Academy Award as Best Actress for FUNNY GIRL, had HELLO, DOLLY! in release and was making ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER.

Her favorite clothing and costume designer at this time was Arnold Scaasi, who made this ensemble for Barbra. Barbra wore this at an event in Ottawa in January 1970 with Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, with whom she was having a romance.
