[8 3/4" tall x 11" wide], unpaginated, G; brown paper boards with black lettering and full-color illustration to front board, navy blue cloth spine, no lettering to spine; bumping/chipping/fraying with mild material loss to head and tail of spine, cocking to spine, shelf lean, boards shaken, binding intact but fragile; scratching/denting/staining (likely water damage) to boards, chipping with material loss to edges and corners of boards; age-toning and shelfwear to text-block; signs of repair to gutter of interiors (many leaves reinforced by pasted strip of linen); signatures and inscriptions from previous owners to front paste-down; scribbles in green pencil to ffep, tear to bottom half of reinforced ffep; creasing to many pages at gutter and/or corners; occasional mild foxing/staining to interior, full-color illustrations clean and bright; an early picture book on the life cycle of chickens.
