Costa Rica 1912, lived and worked in Mexico, d. 1998). Zuñiga is well-known for his figurative drawings of indigenous women. He recomposed many of his drawings, however, to form bronze sculptures. Included are a few of his paintings from the late 1940's and early 1950's (He abandoned painting in 1954, although continued to use colors with pastels and watercolors). ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEXT.
