Handsome first edition of this play in verse -- with choice autograph addition: Tipped to front pastedown is a fine signature from the lead character of the 1958 first production at the Edinburgh Festival on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card. PAUL ROGERS, who played Lord Claverton, signs large and bold in blue ink, dating it 13 July 1971 at upper right. Rogers (1917-1913) was the distinguished Tony Award-winning English actor of numerous stage, film and television productions. Ideal book mark laid in as well: Rogers original transmittal envelope.
