(second half of the 19th century[?]); single sheet, pp. [2]; score and lyrics in blue and brown ink; 10 1/4 x 9; loss of paper to upper left corner, not affecting text, but for one letter of the title; crease line through middle and several closed cuts to edges; vertical split, crudely, but lovingly sewn together with period thread; occasional spotting; overall in good condition.A lovely rendition of Henry Herz' (1803 - 1888) "We Have Lived and Loved Together," it was arranged for the guitar by V. B. Bell for one Mrs. Caroline Schoch - possibly a teacher of German at the Indiana State Normal School.
