Frontispiece portrait; map endpapers and frontispiece map of Shanghai 1861-1863. Ownership blindstamp on title page, a stray ink mark on the margin of page vi, else this is a very good copy. The dustwrapper is now price-clipped; it has a closed marginal tear and crease along the bottom, is lightly rubbed and with a few small stains, but still in very good condition.
