First Edition; A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED and inscribed by the author on the title page. A handsome copy of this classic science fiction novel by one of the great SciFi authors of the 20th century; scarce signed. This copy is in very good condition with bright spine lettering and clean pages; the book does show a cracked front hinge (still intact), a 1/4" tear to the spine head, and some moderate shelf wear. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that has had internal tape reinforcement to the spine ends and flap edges (tape shadow somewhat visible on the exterior), and some moderate rubbing and chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners (no loss of material). Overall, a nice, collectible copy of a scarce book, enhanced by the author signature. Not price clipped ($2.00 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
