London: George Allen & Unwin, 1969. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. A solid, uniform example of the "revised edition"- all 3 volumes ("The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King") constituting the 1969 2nd edition, 4th impression. Each voume tight and VG in its red cloth, with very light staining and soiling at several of the volumes. Same as well with the dustjackets. Crisp and very presentable, with just a touch of stainng at the rear panel of "The Two Towers" and more pronounced staining along the rear panel of "The Fellowship of the Ring". The elegant "Allen & Unwin" edition from the 60's and a nice "starter" set for a serious collector.
