The extra suite on chine: 10 black and white engraved plates, nine in water color, plus the extra original etching. Brianchon, an influential master at the Ecole des Beaux Arts continued the tradition of of Bonnard and Vuillard in the intimacy of his compositions. In 1949, Brianchon was appointed Chef d’Atelier de Peinture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Printed by Fequet et Baudier, the original water color illustrations pulled by hand onto copper plates.
