Small 4to. xviii, (2), 344,(2); ix,(1),385,(1)pp. Rust colored buckram, tooled in gilt on the spines and upper boards. A fine, bright set with the gilt essentially as new, and partially unopened. In the scarce dustwrappers, which are unclipped, They show a little roughness along the edges and some darkening of the spines but they are in very good condition.
The first volume is a modern edition of Richard Tottel's famous anthology of Elizabethan poetry. Volume II adds the critical apparatus necessary for a thorough appreciation of the original.
There are several indices, including a glossarial index and an index of first lines.
Scarce in fine jacketed condition.
