1933 · Detroit, MI
by Labadie, Jo
Detroit, MI: [Jo Labadie], 1933. Small single leaf, 5x7 inches, with two print-blocks struck on a single side. It was then folded vertically in half (to 5x3.5 inches), see fold-line. If actually closed, the poem would be cover, the ad a terminal text, and both interior panels would be blank. We have chosen an open, unfolded presentation. Very good condition. None found in OCLC as of 9/2020. The poem-printblock shows a photographic image of Labadie gazing into a fireplace, placed above his verse (or, as he himself describes it in the ad, his "doggerel").
