Beatrice Webb was one of the founders of the London School of Economics and coined the term "collective bargaining." Along with her husband Sidney Webb, Beatrice was an important member of the intellectual group The Fabian Society, which counted among its members notable figures such as George Bernaard Shaw and Emmeline Pankhurst. This book details the worker safety, health, and hygiene issues for women workers, such as "septic teeth," which Webb warned could lead to anemia. Very good condition.
