Mostly issues of "Bulletin of the Society of St Vincent de Paul," spanning the years between 1856 and 1859, but also "Report of the General Meeting of the Conferences of Dublin, Held on the 8th of December, 1856," etc.; 8 1/4 x 5 1/2; nonconsequtive dates and pagination, 688 pp. altogether; bound together in marbled boards and 3/4 black morocco; four raised bands to spine, with gilt title and decorations; illustrated with tables, some of them large, fold-out; small, worn spots to tips of spine and corners; a bit of rubbing to boards edges; upper margin of ffep trimmed; first leaf with a few closed cuts (not affecting readability); some foxing mostly to last few leaves; overall in about very good condition. Founded in 1883 in Paris, by author, lawer, and educator Antoine-Frederic Ozanam, The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a large, international, charitable organization in the Catholic Church. The sammelband includes reports of general meetings of the conferences, bulletins, and more.
