Text in French and English. Duotone photographs. Pictorial boards. First French edition (published simultaneously with the Italian-English dual language edition). Signed by Basilico and dated 2004 on the front free endpaper. A landmark photobook. In 1991 Basilico was part of a documentary mission to Beirut, after its 15-year devastation by war. He returned in 2003 as part of the Domus architectural review to document the reconstruction of the city.
