Folio (11 x 11.5 inches). 120 pages. 76 black & white photographs and numerous archival photos. Black cloth; printed dust jacket. First edition of Basilico's early project, made for an exhibition at the Musée de l'Eysée in Lausanne in 1990. Basilico relies on wide, topographical views, but "this formal strategy actually works in an anti-formal way, stressing the informational value of [the] imagery" (Parr & Badger, The Photobook, III, pp. 62-63). Designed by Maurizio Zanuso. An increasingly scarce book.
