ß A fascinating glimpse of the famous and fashionable artists whose works were being shown at the RA. In this issue we find 1054 works, followed by the list of artists locating where their art was (the Council Room, the Library, etc.), then a list of the Members, and finally a List of the Exhibitors with their "places of abode". These include (as a tiny sample) Beechey, Cosway, Fuseli, Flaxman, Soane, West, etc.
