Bound in quarter calf over marbled boards, gilt and blind tooled backs, edges marbled, plain yellow end papers with ownership signature of Lord Rancliffe, ( George Parkyns, 2nd Baron Rancliffe, 1785-1850), a British politician. Very Good Plus, light wear to calf at edges and corners, marbled boards a bit rubbed, light to moderate toning which is primarily limited to plates and nearby pages, small ticket of John Howell, Importers, San Francisco rear end pages. A quite handsome and well bound set, sets of this important literary magazine uncommon in current commerce.
