A grim shot of Springvale, Maine on the day following the great fire of April 14th, 1905. The scene shows smoking ruins, debris littering the road, clusters of men observing the still-burning area, a mother and daughter holding hands, watching from afar. Smoke appears to blot out one third of the scene. CONDITION: Good, wear at margins, bumped at two corners.
