From precious manuscripts made mainly in the 14th and 15th centuries, 200 works accompany the 110 poems. They reinforce the allegorical universe of poets by the fine contours, the brilliance of the colors, mixing flamboyant Gothic and courteous refinement. Bartholomew of Eyck, Jean Fouquet, the brothers of Limburg, Simon Marmoin, Robinet Testard are among the great masters.
