This publication lists the the rules, regulations and services of the "Bikur Cholim" (meaning "visiting the sick" in Hebrew) Jewish organization of Leipzig. Its aim, as with many similar organizations was to provide support and bereavement services for the Jewish community. This support included financial assistance to sick individuals, arrangements for medical care at home, assistance with visitations, as well as loans for bereaved individuals and families among other services. Also included is information on the structure of the organization and its finances. Organized into 42 sections. Laid in at the interior front cover is a small membership subscription slip for those wishing to receive services. A extremely scarce piece of German-Jewish historical ephemera.
