Plates for this edition are based on an 1808 chapbook of the same title, printed by John Harris. The illustrations are attributed to Irish-born painter William Mulready, for which Princeton holds the original drawings. 5'' x 4''. Original pink paper over boards made of printed waste. Full-page black-and-white frontispiece with seven full-page black-and-white plates. [5], 16, [1] pages, first and last pasted to boards as usual. Mild soiling and edgewear to boards. Pages uniformly toned, as usual; pages cracking to hinge. Sound.
