Bush with his granddaughter, inscribed to American businessman, Wayne Huizenga.. Official White House photograph, dated October 4th, 1989. Measures 8" x 10". Faint toning to edges, was likely framed. The photograph features the granddaughter of President George H.W. Bush, likely Marshall Lloyd Bush, the daughter of Marvin P. Bush. Includes a JSA authentication form, with sticker on verso of photo. Also includes a note from Marvin P. Bush to Wayne Huizenga. Inscription from President George H.W. Bush reads: "To Wayne - My video adviser & I send best wishes. George Bush." Provenance: From the estate of Wayne Huizenga, his office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Wayne Huizenga (1937-2018) was the co-owner of Blockbuster Video at the time of this inscription. He was a close adviser to President George H.W. Bush and his son, President George W. Bush. Before his time with Blockbuster Video, he founded Waste Management Inc. and later through acquisition, AutoNation. He was the owner of several professional sports teams, including the Miami Dolphins, the Florida Panthers and the Florida Marlins. He died in 2018 of cancer.
