The New Year Gives a Party for All the Special Days of the New Year to Come. Each of the 40 chosen days are personified -It's a Display of Women & Men Wearing Styles of Dress from Many Earlier Eras. Walter Crane's Illustrations are Elaborate and Colorful.

Printed on good paper stock in the French fold manner, 40 pgs plus color double-spread title page and a half- title page in red. Decorated endpapers. The book's edges & corners are rubbed, wear at spine's tips and edge, front inner hinge has some breaks to the paper (halfway down hinge to bottom - but it is tight, and at the very bottom of the back's fep is a neatly repaired 1/4" closed tear. Internally this copy is VG+ (clean, bright, tight with no marks.
