Laid in are an archive of programs for the presentation to Ms. Welty of an honorary degree at the University of Illinois on May 20, 1979, along with assorted newspaper and magazine article clipping, envelopes, an invitation to the Slankers, and 2 color slides and 1 Polaroid photograph of Ms. Welty signing books after the ceremony. Near Fine in the red cloth binding, very faint toning at paste downs. A wonderful Association Copy with considerable provenance..
