The Stainless Steel Kimono

By Elliott Chaze

First Edition; A Very Good book in a Very Good dust jacket. SIGNED and inscribed by the author on the front free paper. A handsome copy of this tale of US paratroopers in occupied Japan, written by one; very scarce signed. This copy is in very good or better condition with a square tight binding, bright silver lettering over black boards, and clean pages throughout that show some light foxing; the book also shows some light rubbing to the edges and some moderate spotting to the exterior text block. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows mild rubbing and light chipping to the spine ends, edges, and corners, and a couple small closed tears to the back panel edges. Overall, a handsome and presentable copy of a book that would be a great addition to any WWII fiction collection, particularly with a Japanese occupation slant. Not price clipped ($2.75 intact), not remaindered, not ex-library; in archival protection and will ship in a sturdy box.
