First edition; 10 x 6 1/2; pp. 3-198; olive-green wraps, printed and ruled in black; illustrated with graphs, maps, pictures, tables, and a large, fold-out technical drawing; two stamps of the institute to front wrap and title page; sun-fading to margins of wraps; small nicks to tips of spine; staples showing at hinges with small splits around; overall in very good- condition. In Ukrainian, English, and German.The Ukrainian Technical and Husbandry Institute was established in 1932 as a polytechnical institute and a correspondence school of the Ukrainian Husbandry Academy in, then, Czechoslovakia. Fleeing the advancing Soviet Army in 1945, the faculty of the institute were granted permission by the US forces to continue their work at a DP camp in Regensburg. The current book contained lectures and notes on math, chemistry, history, etc.
