Reprinted by permission of the Oxford University Press, London, England. 4to (12 ½" x 10"); [8]pp; stiff textured wrapper, color printed scene of horses in a field on the front, a cow, donkey, and ducks on the rear; ownership in neat ink to verso front wrapper; full-page color illustrations; minor shelf wear to wrapper and light soiling; near fine. Not found in OCLC. Story on verso of the wrapper followed by bright colorful illustrations of farm animals in their environment. This edition was printed by Artists and Writers Guild, Inc. which was founded in New York City in the 1930s by Western Publishing, the parent company of Western Printing and Lithographing Company of Racine, Wisconsin, to print children's books.
