The lower wrap shows a portrait of the author, who is the Consultant-in-Chief of the Church of the Black Cross. The cover shows a beautiful young woman, Ola Williams, holding a Bible, with a bit of verse from the Song of Solomon ("...Black But Comely...").
The book is dedicated on the title page to "those blacks, who have always known certain Biblical facts, and to avoid persecution, passed them from generation to generation only by word of mouth." Chapter names include: "Thy Name - Negro or Black?"; "The Curse - On All Blacks?"; "Communism - The Best System?"; "Restitution - A God Given Right?"; and "His Image - Black and White?" Includes a two-page biography of Flournoy, who lived in Colorado with his family but was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana.
