Early armorial bookplate on front pastedown, of Henry Bancroft Twombly, was a Yale graduate, member of Skull and Bones, and a prominent New York attorney; and the later ownership signature of Drayton S. Bryant, a prominent Philadelphia urban planner, and scholar. Light wear on the binding, very good or better with small flaws at the spine ends, light offsetting from a clipping on one leaf.
