Philadelphia: Published By The City, 1913. First Edition. Very near fine in dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt text stamped on the spine and on the front board. An octavo of 8 5/8 by 5 7/8 inches with the lower fore corners of both boards lightly bumped and with occasional marginal red pencil marks particularly in the latter chapters of the book. The lower half of pages 133 through 184 feel wavy, but there is no evidence of staining or water marks. Without a dust jacket if it ever had one. 360 pages including an index, errata, chronology and text. Illustrated with maps and with images from black and white photographs.
