Dublin: Printed by J. Potts, 1770. First Dublin edition, title-page states "Sixth Edition". The first appearance in Ireland of the story of Cinderella in English, entitled "The Story of Finetta, the Cinder Girl." Two octavo volumes of three. Although there is a third volume called for it is rare and the final page of volume II states "Finis." Previous owner's bookplate and old ink signature on front pastedown of each volume. Minor dampstaining to front blanks of volume I. Some general scuffing and rubbing to boards.
