The journal includes an essay by Solomon Mogilevsky who was Lenin's contemporary and participant in the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. He writes about the Red Peasant International making note of the fact that there is no current historiography on the topic in the Soviet Union or otherwise. He death in 1925 is surrounded in mystery by a plane crash with no known cause.
