Boston: The Excursionists, 1871. A trip aboard the steamer "New Brunswick" for a summer vacation by hundreds of Massachusetts residents. "For four successive years a party of two or three hundred of the business people of Worcester have enjoyed aweek or two... making a steamboat trip to different places of interest..." With lists of the officers of the "New Brunswick (their steamer that year) officers of the club and excursionists themselves and where they lived. In 1871, they cruised Down East, and all the way up to St. John, and there is a 50-page narrative of their adventures, which included visiting Penobscot Indians. Inscribed on the front blank by Asa Bullard, president of the excursionists. Very good condition. 18.5 cm. vi-69 pp.
