1962. [Civil Rights]. N.A.A.C.P National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Bayonne Branch Annual Dinner at the Hit-Hat Club, 1962. 9" x 6" inches. 20 pages. Soft blue wrappers. The night was sponsored by black-owned businesses as well as individuals giving a sense of the close knit and intentional community-building effort instrumental to the N.A.A.C.P's purpose of advancing African Americans. Program includes special thanks to donors, a list of presumably smaller donors grouped together as well as the night's sponsors, the chapter's elected officers, executive boards and the order of events. Light stains to front cover, possibly brown gravy. Textblock bright and clean. Overall very good condition.
