Sixteen silver gelatin photographs in a card stock folder, the latter printed in green and red; 3 3/4 x 2 3/4; images subtitled in lower left corner; minor wear - in near fine condition; folder with small nicks to tips of spine and corners and a few small creases - in very good condition.Commemorating some of the best-known figures of Soviet cinema in the mid-20th century, the images included actress Elina Bystritskaia (1928 - 2019), whose theater and film career would span more than six decades; actor, screenwriter, and director Sergei Bondarchuk (1920 - 1994), whose epic production of Tolstoy's "War and Peace" would bring him a Golden Globe and an Oscar in 1968; and others.
