1850. ADAM, Victor. Les Synonymes en Action. Contents include: hand-coloured lithographed title and twenty-four hand-colored lithographed plates, heightened with gum arabic, (W, X & Y on one plate). Folio, 337 x 250 mm., bound in publisher's blind stamped red cloth over boards, front cover decorated and lettered in gilt, expertly rebacked to style. Paris: Chez Arnauld de Vresse, 1850.
