The text in verse asks the child to find the letter within the words listed; the end of the book has a counting rhyme. The educational text still retains whimsy: one full-page chromolithograph depicts a "ride in fairyland." Vividly colored, the entire books is well printed, with sharp definition that is usually sacrificed with cloth books. 9.5'' x 7''. Original pictorial wrappers. Illustrated with four full-page chromolithographs, the remainder in black and white. [8] pages. Minor soil and faint signs of handling. Binding firm.
