You are hereby Authorized and Impower'd to join together in holy Matrimony Adams Gragg and Joannah Taggart. In the 18th century, NH governors often signed marriage documents. Small stain at top and some separation where folded in middle. Archivally framed. Not examined outside the frame. Gragg and Taggart where both from Peterborough, NH. Gragg, along with others, in June of 1776 signed a document saying he would take up arms to fight in the American Revolution.
