Letter from S.B. Bowman, Dated Chicago, March 5th, 1899 to his cousins Tobias and Judith

12pp. Good condition. Bowman gives a detailed description of this life traveling for an Excursion Co. (possibly Phillips Judson Excursions.) His job is to try to get ticket agents who sell tickets over the different lines to give them some business. He also meets with clients to convince them to take the excursion. He talks about several of his trips by rail. The excursion goes Los Angeles via Sacramento, Ogden, Salt Lake, Pueblo, Kansas City, Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo, Albany to Boston.
