Agreement Dated December 23, 1871 Related to Sale of Cloth & Discounts

Measures 10" x 8". Signed in type by local companies. It has to do with the sale of cloth and says in part: " and we hereby agree that upon sale of such merchandise we will not give back or allow any greater discount....other than 1% if paid within thirty days..." The back has been used for handwritten letters that do not appear related to the broadside.
