With Copy of Evidence of Mr. Leach Taken before the Magistrate 18 pp large paper, circa 1886, with Solicitor Treasury on the docket. These documents relate to murder of Thomas Bartlett by poisoning with chloroform. His wife Adelaide and her friend the minster Rev. Tyson were prime suspects The charges against Tyson were dropped before the trial in hopes that he would testify against Adelaide. Adelaide was acquitted and shortly after the trial they both vanished. Julian Symons Sweet Adelaide is based the murder.
