Letter from Marie Fairchild MacMonnies dated 16 Impasses du Maine Paris July 7, 1889 to Mr. Henderson [former U.S. senator from MO]
4pp. She thanks Henderson for his help in getting her husband's Sculpture of Diana exhibited. She hopes they will be able to sell it and mentions maybe the Corcoran would be interested. She then talks in detail about a painting she has done for Henderson and has sent to him. Very readable and in good condition. William Frederick MacMonnies was American born but spent time in Paris where he was associated with the Beaux-Arts School. His wife was an artist in her own right.
