Moscow: State Art Publishers, 1939. A photographic homage to the role of women in Soviet Russia. Unlike so many of the Soviet propaganda books, where the reality is far removed from that depicted in the books, this work demonstrates a reality which was that in the Soviet Union women had in fact reached a point where many if not all were availed of the same opportunities given to men.
