2 copies of "Fort Dix Special" topographical map, prepared and printed by 1204th Engr Co (Carto) ARNG Slocomb, AL 1984. Road data from 1974, other information from 1972. Overlays prepared from information supplied by the New Jersey National Guard. Map includes various military sites in the vicinity of Fort Dix military reservation, including Lakehurst Naval Airstation, US Naval Air Station (Jackson), McGuire Air Force Base, BOMAC Missile Facility, and Frankford Arsenal Range (Impact Area). Also includes extensive geographical data such as woodlands, (truncated) marshes, lakes, cranberry bogs, rivers, creeks, and brooks, as well as elevations contours throughout. Offset lithograph. Measures 22 1/4" x 28 3/4" each, copy 1 in very good condition with toning to top center panel, copy 2 in good condition with red overprint faded, some creasing, and a red pen mark near center.

Also shows section of the Federal Correctional Institute at Fort Dix, the largest single federal prison in the United States. Plan indicates the area as off limits. Dated 10-06-1999. Blueprint on mylar. Measures 36 1/8" x 29 7/8"
