A beautiful set of collection of early Art Moderne sculpture that is found not only as sculpture, but as bas relief, interior mouldings for buildings, as well as columns and exterior decoration. Portfolios include work by Bernaux, Garnier, Jallot, Lalique, Seguin,and many others. Unpag. Elephant Folio. Portfolio includes 8 pp of text with an introduction and list of the 32 plates. Plates and text are laid into publisher’s portfolio, original cloth ties missing. Binding has a water stain to front cover that bled through and has left a stain on the cover and has bled through to (truncated) the first four pages of the half-title and title page. No damage to plates within, interior text and plates very clean and sharp. All text is in French. Oversize portfolio, may require additional postage. (Inventory #: 29564)
