Extensive account of Araki's photography in color and b/w, published as a companion to the exhibition Nobuyoshi Araki: Self, Life, Death, 6 October 2005 to 22 January 2006, at the Barbican Art Gallery, London. This edition includes foil-blocked, tipped-in, textured pages and texts are printed throughout on different sized, pre-dyed, coloured paper. Contains illustrated bibliography, a chronology compiled by Tomoko Sato and an index at rear, printed to fine cream paper, and light blue sheet with specification of the edition and brief bios of contributors. Chemise still with publisher's plastic wrap, opened at top and bottom. Binding with light bumps at foredge corners of book.
