Eleventh Catalogue of the Officers of the Hasty-Pudding Club in Harvard College

Cambridge, MA: W.H. Wheeler, 1891. Octavo. 01 Pages. The importance of this edition is that the M.S. Catalogue 1802-1835 had recently been recovered after having been lost for over half a century. This is among the most scarce though later editions appeared from 1893 on. Now are the names of all members from 1797-1891 and the Honorary members elected after graduation (including Josiah Royce). There are also the omitted names [in double-brackets] who were dismissed from the club for having disgraced it. Bound in 3/4 green cloth over marbled paper covered boards, binding rubbed, some wear to corners and edges, marbled endpapers. A very good clean copy. (truncated) (Inventory #: 029126)
