Exquisite album of the German artist's Surrealist-influenced paintings and lithographs, ranging from his characteristic Dali-esque distorted female figures to a series of strange and delicate black and white images reminiscent of Klee. With a perceptive introduction by Raddatz, exploring Wunderlich's transformation of mythological signifiers and identifying in his work a Dostoyevskian concern with good and evil. 16'' x 12''. Original green silk boards, portfolio style, with unbound folios. In original green and copper silk slipcase. Introduction translated from German into French by Cornelius Heim. 126 pages.
