The first issue of the Los Angeles iteration of the tabloid Bryan previously printed in San Francisco under the title Open City Press. This issue features contributions from Clayton Eshleman, Allen Ginsberg, William and Barbara Margolis, as well as Charles Bukowski's review of A.E. Hotchner's biography of Ernest Hemingway.
